When “Behind The Scenes” becomes the scene
We filmed and directed screen tests of Cox Communications employees who were auditioning to be featured in commercial spots over the course of a few days. We gave them a mix of scripted lines to read and then asked them questions to get a more natural tone in their answers. As always, there were some great moments that happened in between (or during) auditions. So many of them that the client and ad agency asked us to create a little bit of a story out of what normally would only see the cutting room floor.
